Minneapolis

It’s been a long time since I’ve blogged. I think I’m way overdue for some updating.

When people think of Minneapolis they think of the Mall of America. The Mall of America is huge, but it doesn’t feel overwhelming. It is easy to navigate, offers all of the best stores, and tons of good eateries. It is definitely a day trip and a one-stop shopping center.

I think I imagined that no matter where you entered the Mall of America you would be totally in awe with big glitzy chandeliers and golden colored rails and deep toned carpets and entrances to high-end hotels every 150 feet, then a big amusement park right in the middle. It’s not really like that at all.

The Mall of America is just like the malls we are all used to but every major store has a HUGE space and it is about 100xs the size with more variety.

I think I’ve learned from my father how to push my dollar to the max and I definitely got a ton of great deals. I usually hate shopping, but when I get on a roll I don’t want to stop because that mood doesn’t come often and I like to take advantage of it when I’m in it. I also like to shop alone because I’m a very quick and efficient shopper. I either like a store immediately or I don’t. I can be in and out with a bag full of clothes in no time.

So, I’m ready for summer, work, and Las Vegas. I was in need of a good shopping trip. Thanks Mall of America.
